Default Good Friday Morning to ya'll

Well, gotta be a good day since it is Friday......for those of us that work Citoig and others

Hope everything goes OK this weekend for everyone, just in case I don't check in over the weekend. It's been a little hectic lately, but hopefully this weekend will be great and relaxing.

No big plans for the Super Bowl this year. Last year we went ot Pittsburgh for the game to visit with famiyl a few Miles away, then we went into the City for the Victory Parade.......it was awsome.

Anyhow, may the best team win, or as some would like to say, the underdogs to help offset the bookies

Moring Kaiti, OK afternoon. By the time I get home from physical therapy it is afternoon. I love my weekends, no doc appts., no early school mornings, my grouchy, surly 14 year old that I adore is gone until Sunday evening. ( He is on all kinds of meds for ADHD and BiPolar, is there a forum here for parents of) I just hope to get sunshine. I don't care how cold out it is if the sun shines. No football for me, I know some would consider that a sports blasphemy LOL but I do enjoy the commercials. So it will mostly be me and my books because dad is home and can mind the 6 year old. AAAHHHH bliss!!! Oh wait jeez, I almost talked myself into forgetting the horrible case of PMS I have. Ok maybe an extra Xanax. : )

Hi Kaiti & Christina. I must be a rarity among American men; I hate football. It seems that for evry minute of "action" there's 10 minutes of: let's huddle, let's have a time-out, let's line-up, and yeah, throww the ball. Though I am not a big fan, soccer at least has MOTION; they are always moving in hockey. (Though I can never follow the puck. ) I've never been a participant in sports; so I have very little interest in watching.

I hope everybody enjoys the weekend, whether they watch the Super Bowl or not. Just have a sober/clean good time.

Talking hello Kaiti, Christina and citoig -

I know I'm a day late, but better late then never - right??

citoig - my son also has no time for football (or any sports, for that matter). He's felt pretty much like an anomaly all his adult life too!! He did play some "kid's games" with neighborhood kids (kickball and so on) but was never interested in playing any sports at all in school. So there are a few of you males who aren't interested in sports out there!

Christina - I think talking yourself out of PMS sounds like a great idea. Better than using Xanax anyway. I used it many years ago for a 'SHORT' time to treat panic attacks but once I learned about the addictive qualities, I stopped. I figured I didn't need anything more like that in my life and besides, I had some bad side effects anyway! lol

Kaiti - always a pleasure to see your roll call. Have a great weekend.

Hi Teddiebears, good morning and yes better late then never. I being a recovering addict don't much like taking pills of any kind even though pills was not my addiction (never much liked the way they made me feel, if that isn't odd I don't know what is) but I find that if during my PMS I don't take 1 or 2 at certain times during this period (pardon the pun) then I become and feel unbearable and take it out on my family. Every little thing is abrasive and I become enraged and tend to be just plain irritable during this time. I find that as I get older it gets worse. I am still on a scrip of 62 that I got in October and still have about half left so I don't use it that often. As for side effects, I fell asleep in the chair around six pm and next thing I knew it was almost nine. That hasn't happened in ages. Well I am going on aren't I ?!! See ya around the board.
Christina

It is always better late then never.

Even in death, my great grandfather was late to his own funeral.....apparently the funeral home either misplaced or forgot his ashes....so that is our running family joke

I have to admit, I was the BIGGEST tomboy growing up, still am as a matter of fact I would much rather be playing a game as opposed to watching it. But since my hubby is such a sports fanatic, he gets a tad maniacle and we have had to institute a "no-fly" zone in the house. I told him he isn't getting paid millions of dollars to fly off the handle, and if I see a hat or anything else fly in the house durign a sporting event, the TV goes out the window.....that was 4 yrs ago, and so far so good

Has anyone noticed that they have been putting the good parts of the commercials out before the game, then when it comes time for the WHOLE thing, it sems kinda boring
Don't know if it's just me or not.
Oh well, of to bed
Stay SAFE, stay Sane, Stay Sober!!!!!
ps had to put that last part, started to withdrawl a bit and wanting, but made it through thinking of the road you all have taken. THANK YOU!!!!!
(((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))
