I go through this every 3 months. As the botox wears off, the headaches come back. This time nothing worked so we had to use the heavy drugs. I am counting down the days to the 4th when I get my round of Botox. I should also add that my shunt is wide open. We did Topamax for about a year then started on Elavil and slowly weaned te dopamax. Suzie

DYT1 positive dytonia . Dx 1989. Deep Brain Stimuation at Shands at UF in 2003. Hydrocephalus dx in 1/2004 due to an infection and resolved as of 4/4/08. Hydrocephalus returned and shunted 7/9/09 with OSV II,revised 8/5/09. So many CT scans I should GLOW

Thanks for the reply..I don't do this migraine bit very often,but...even though it's mild..it's a little annoying.
