Default Hello from Canada

Hello Everyone,
I am Samantha and I just decided to join because this site looks like it will be very helpful to our family. I have 5 children, Corey(12), Asia(9), Raven(6), Raina(4), and Sienna (21 months) Both Asia and Sienna have a rare seizure disorder called Pyridoxine Dependency. I see a few people here from the B6 support group... hello!! Asia also suffers from asthma, migraines, Celiac Disease, Allergies, learning problems etc etc. Sienna also suffers from GERD, Restless leg syndrome, speech delay, and a heart murmur has recently developed and needs attention.
We have a seizure-alert dog named River who is a pure bred yellow lab. She is 4 years old now and a huge help with both girls and their seizures. I look forward to talking with all of you and hope to start the year off in a better place medically.

Happy Holidays everyone!

Hi and I want to welcome you to the forum. I hope you stop by the Gluten Sensitivity/Celiac Disease forum here on BT http://brain.hastypastry.net/forums/...play.php?f=152

The third sticky is "The Gluten File" This file is kept on a Google page. Here you will find information about b6 deficiency. Here is a direct link. http://jccglutenfree.googlepages.com/vitaminb6

Thank you very much Anne. We are new to the Celiac diet, but not new to the seizure disorder. You information is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You are welcome. Hope to see you on the "Gluten Sensitivity/Celiac Disease" forum. There is a learning curve to living GF - we are always happy to share information. I know that I needed help when starting on my GF journey. I hope you are seeing improvement since removing gluten.

Hi Shanka,

Although, I can't help you, I wanted to welcome you to the forum and to let you know that you will get much support here.
I am sorry your children are having these issues. I hope you will be able to get the info that will make life easier for you and them.
It sounds like you have a great dog. What a blessing.
Good luck to you and your children.
Linda
