Default An Update on 'RAP'

I mainly go to the chat room, which may be the reason why some of you will not remember me/us.

'Rap' is my wife who has an unDx chronic pain condition which has been becoming progressively worse over the last 8 years.

anyway...

She was admitted to King's College Hospital, London on Monday. For tests...at long last.

So far she has...

3 MRIs, 2 were on the head and neck, and they were the contrast sort... and one was head and spine.

Lumber puncture.

Evoke potential ( I hope I spelt that right)

EEG.

2 sort of electrical studies... (not too sure which ones)

some sort of eye tests to determine the reason for the double vision.

Loads of blood tests...

and we are hoping for a Telemetry test early next week.

The docs have not suggested any cause for the chronic condition as they are waiting to get all the results in first.

sorry this is a bit vague.

just an update for those who are asking about us.

Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts that are comming this way. They are appriciated

Wolfie.

Wolf,
Thanks for the update on Rap. It's so good to know that they are finally getting around to doing some decent testing on her. I hope you and your son are doing well.
Fingers and toes are crossed that they can find something that can be treated.

Lisa

Oh Wolf I hope things get better for your wife soon, I know how hard it is suffering CP and it's no easy thing, but to have all those tests done is no easy thing either, I am sure she is exhausted. My thoughts and prayers are with you both right now. s*

Thumbs up

Best of luck to y'all..(it seems my ******* is showing this morning)

All joking aside, I know it has been a long, painful process and I hope you get results soon. And then, hopefully, she will be on the mend after some treatment.

Default good news

Bewolf, I am really Libra, initially couldn't sign on, so changed name. Anyway, that is good to hear she is having all those tests. It must be gruelling, but they have to find out something, some reason for her pain and suffering. Please let us know what they find out. I wish you and your wife and son well, you have endured long enough.
