Default Unsure what I have

Hello Everyone

Brief history- Had small "zaps" for about 6 months. Sometimes twice a day. Now everyday I have burning left arm and hand shoulder. Sometimes with the burning I have pain in my chest just below my collarbone or it could just be in the leftside of my jaw or left ear. Sometimes it is just in left part of my lip and upper eye. I usally have 3 -4 spells a day.

They usually last about 20 minutes The pain is really intense so I go to my "pain room" and curl up in a ball and wait till it passes.

I have gone to emerge twice when they first started to happen. I was scared it was my heart but they did a ECG and Cat Scan and everything is okay. I have an appt Jan. 3rd with Neurologist. I have a cousin who has MS but it is not active.

I am not sure if this is MS symptoms or not or could it be a pinched nerve. Does anyone else have my symptoms? Am I in the right place to ask this question. If not could someone direct me to where I should go.

Thank you for all your help
Awaiting........
Barb

Hi Blaidlaw,

First, I would like to welcome you to BT. I hope you find a home here.
I'm so sorry you are having these symptoms. It sounds very painful.
It kinda sounds like a pinched nerve to me. I could be wrong but I have had pinched nerves before and they feel like electrical shocks with burning pain. It could be PN too. Peripheral neuropathy. I have that too in between my shoulder blades. I take neurontin for that and it helps greatly.
I have seven herniated discs in my neck and back, so I have alot of different kinds of pain.
I am so glad you are going to see a neurologist. Hopefully, he can get to the bottom of this and help you. Too bad you have to wait so long but Jan. 3rd will be here before we know it.
I am wishing the best for you.
Good Luck,
Linda

Hi Linda

Thank you for getting back to me. I am hoping it is a pinched nerve also. I will let you know as soon as I find out. Question: When you had your pinched nerve would it act up off and on each day for any where between 5-20 minutes.

Thank you for welcoming me also and I am sorry to hear that you are also in Pain

Thanks again
