Hi,
I was given an Rx for Miralax today and wondered how long it usually takes to work??
Thanks in advance!

Miralax is suppose to increase the water content in the intestines.. I would expect that it may take upto a few days of taking it .. to produce results

I took it for a month and then quit. It wasn't at all effective for me.. Hope that it is for you! Enjoy the ball!

Juniee,

In all honestly I have never tried Miralax. My doctor prescribed me "Reglan" and it helps me more than anything I've tried (OTC wise anyway) so I'm sticking with it. It not only takes away my nausea but also helps my lower GI tract to "move along" instead of "standing still". It's a great drug for me!

I hope that you can have some luck with the Miralax. I've heard good and bad things about it but hopefully you'll see some relief soon. I wish you the best!

Razzle,

I do hope that you see the positive results that I have with using the Reglan! Best of luck!
