Here is a link to an Amazon page of a book that I read about a decade ago which impacted my thinking. It's provides a different, and practical perspective on the issue of planning for what happens in your child's life down the line. It's called "Laying Community Foundations for your Child with a Disability: How to establish relationships that will support your child after you're gone". by Linda J. Stengle
http://www.amazon.com/Laying-Communi.../dp/0933149670 I remember it as an easy read, for the mind, and both emotional and reassuring for the heart. Just thought I'd share. cj |

There is also Independence Bound by Jacquelyn Altman Marquette. I found the tone of the book horribly condescending, but it was full of good information if you can slog through that.
