Title 1: economically disadvantaged. Special government funding specifically aimed at this group- Its why you have to fill out those free/reduced meal forms at the beginning of the school year. (Can't remember if you homeschool or not, if you don't then you know what I'm talking about.)

Nope I don't homeschool. Too worried I wouldn't be able to give him all he needs and boy does he need socilization and is at least getting that from his school.

That is really a nice website--I need to book mark that one. I am going to home school, but this is still cool info. Our local school has a really high student/teacher ratio and a lot of student teachers. No surprise there!!

That would be a good website if it wasn't 10 years out of date. I email them with what information I know about our school system. I hope they will make an effort to update the site so the information is current.

Milivica,
Our entire school system has been rebuilt. We have gone from 4 middle schools down to 1 big middle school (the old high school). All of our elementry schools have been built new and we have eliminated several of the old schools. A new High School has also been built. The stats and so forth I don't know well enough to say anything about. Where ever they got thier info, they need to go back to and see if it has been updated.
