Default Anyone Know of Drug Interaction with Topomax and Cymbalta?

Hi, I read a previous thread where I thought I saw someone mention this and I take 200 mg of Topomax per day and my psychiatrist prescribed Cymbalta, I don't know what the dosage is, I haven't started it yet. My neuro knew about this and he thought it was a really good idea, that it would it would be a good addition to the regimen I am currently taking.

Does anyone know anything about taking these two drugs together? I will also see what Drugchecker has to say...

Thanks much!!

I have not taken them both together, although I have been on both and am still on Cymbalta. I have had no problems with the Cymbalta. Ask your pharmacist about any problems with the two of them.

Thanks Lisa. That's a good suggestion. My neuro wants me to be on an SSRI to balance the effects of the opiods to the seratonin levels and I have run through the gamut of the old traditional ones, also I have a stomach disorder and suffer from depression so both neuro and Psych are hoping I will get benefit from this drug.

I'm glad that Cymbalta is working for you.
