Thumbs up Dear PatientsLikeMe Community,

Dear PatientsLikeMe Community,

We are proud to announce the opening of our newest community - Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). As with all new ventures, each needs a jumpstart. We thought what better way to give this community a lift than to reach out to you for help!

As a member of PatientsLikeMe, you understand what we're trying to accomplish: change the course of disease and accelerate research while providing a safe, fun, and open environment. We want to do the same in HIV as in our ALS, MS and Parkinson's communities. So if you know any people with HIV; people who are activists and leaders believing in a philosophy of openness, please invite them to help launch this exciting new community.

Charter Members help shape the experience by providing valuable feedback on the functionality of the site, its look and feel, as well as the relevance of the clinical questions we're asking. This way we know what areas on which to improve right away. The ALS, MS, and Parkinson's communities have all received custom improvements based on the feedback of Charter Members. This invalauble interaction drives our ability to capture the essence of each disease and prepare the highest quality and relevant data sets for research. Thank you to everyone who has already participated as a Charter Member.

Again, we appreciate your referrals and hope that your PatientsLikeMe experience continues to impress. As always, if you have questions or comments, please contact any of us or send an email to support@patientslikeme.com.

Best Regards,

The PatientsLikeMe Team
