Default In case BT breaks again....

If/when braintalk ever breaks again, remember that there is another site that is open to everyone and has the resources to fix problems in hours instead of the months it took to fix the recent problem here....

Yes, there is another place and I did visit it. But I'm awfully glad to have BrainTalk back!

Thanks for posting this. It's good to know that this other site exists in case of future downtime, but one thing really leaves me puzzled. How can that site use the Braintalk name so freely like that, especially since they go ahead and use the same common forum software and thus copy the exact look of the "real" Braintalk forums? It sure seems like there would be copyright issues here; or, if copyright doesn't apply to something like a site name, some other pertinent legal standing held by the original Braintalk forum. Perhaps there is such an issue, but John doesn't mind the other forum using that name because it serves as a backup to this one. I don't know--sure seems odd to me though. Anyone here with a legal background care to weigh in with an opinion?

Thanks for posting this site. Although, I love BT and all it's members, it's nice to know that we have another place to go to if this one ever goes down again. I didn't know about the other site and kept checking weekly to see if this forum was back. I thought that maybe my internet provider had done something to cause me to not to be able to get this forum and had him checking alot of stuff to make sure. I didn't realize that the forum was broke.
Thanks Again,
Linda

We should all agree on a site to meet at if BT breaks again. I like Chronic Pain Support Group (not better than BT), but it's very good. Let's all decide soon!!!
