i know, I check every day through out the day and no one is here any more and for all we know, one of those viewing just may be me at that moment. LOL . So how are you? Hope things are going well. Things have been hell on and off for me but that is for another forum which is where I spend most of my time. It is funny, well maybe not, but for as bad as I feel mentally, the thought of using never really enters my mind. i am off all meds because I keep having allergic reactions to my psych drugs and I used drugs and alcohol to self medicate but it doesn't enter my mind to go back. I have all kinds of pain meds but I hate them so most of the time I suffer but of course that contributes to my misery. Still glad to be clean and sober!!!!

Wink Hi citoig and houghchrst........

I stop by occasionally but don't bother to post because my problems have nothing to do with staying sober or not smoking. Besides, no one seems to be around here anyway.

It truly amazes me how many people left and when the forum crashed and have not returned....... This used to be a very active and positive place - not anymore!!

Good to see you two here - maybe someone else will decide to post too.

Ya, I'm here. I look and see no one has posted lately, so I don't either. I am still involved in my recovery; meetings, service, sponsorship, steps. My daughter is 9 days clean, again. She is 18 and is responsible for her own recovery. I am letting her stay with me for a few weeks...as long as she is clean. Then she and her boyfriend are getting an apartment. He is working as a framer and it will take a few paychecks before they can get a place. It is looking up...but I am cautiously protecting my place and my peacefull home. I will celebrate her recovery when she gets a year clean. I don't get excited over a few days anymore...

Hi All ~ I'm late, but it's good to see everyone. I've checked in and saw that no one had posted in a long time, so figured everyone had given up. Guess I should have started a thread, but didn't.

I'm still hanging around and working on 14 years this summer, thru the grace of God. Our local group seems to have put personalities before principals, so I've not gone to too many meetings ~ too much drama and idiocy and that isn't good for my sobriety. And being disabled, driving too far isn't good for the ole' bod. lol. So I stick to my Big Book and take it from there.

Again, it's good to see everyone ~ hope we can keep this site alive. Love, Lee

I'm glad I shook up a few people to post. It's good to see y'all. Things going pretty well for me, but my friend, John has a lot on his plate right now. His roomate has been in 4 different hospitals since Christmas. He had chest pain so they did by-pass surgery, then he developedd urianry problems and has some surgery for that. John doesn't know if Vinny will ever be coming back home and is having trouble l;earning to take care of himself again. I can't and won't do it for him. I will help with his transportation and we can socialize andhave lunchetc. but I am not going to be his caretaker.

Let's try to breathe some life back into this forum. It definitely needs CPR.
