Default New here

Hi

This is my first post. I have SLE and would like to meet up and talk to others who understand about this disease.

Its a very large site so I will spend some time going through it!

Nice to meet everyone

Crolly

I'm also new, and was diagnosed with SLE last year. I started rituxan treatments the day after my dx was confirmed through bloodwork, and had great results, especially with my CNS symptoms. Lupus was attacking my brain directly, not affecting it through vasculitis. Unfortunately, the diagnosis came late, and I did suffer some permanent damage, which causes seizures, memory problems, some speech problems, and some residual weakness, especially on my right side.

I came here to find out mainly about the seizures, and how people cope with memory loss and muscle weakness that comes and goes, but it is nice to see someone else with lupus . Maybe we can share notes .
