Good to "see" you CPC. Not too many of the "old timers" posting here. This old guy is still hanging in there. I'm still upright and breathing.
Had to get up early today and go shopping for a new bed. WOW What a shock getting up early!! Oh and the prices of beds are WOOOW too, but I'm worth it. Remember, don't drink/use today. Today is all we have. Yesterday is a cancelled check and tomorrow is only a promise. Have a great weekend. Citoig |

thanx for the welcome back, y'all. i'm in alabama still (against my will, still). teddies, i got very, very ill in october (septecemia, bacteremia, pneumonia--the doc said had i waited 8 more hours, i'd be pushing up daisies--thank god my folks realized that i was very ill and made me go to the hospital) and am still not 100%. i quit smoking for 6 weeks. sad to say, i'm at it again
anyhow, i'll either live or not. these past couple of years have been a trip---not necessarily a good one. got one of those 'yets' that we learn about in aa. i left to go snorkling and ended up in jail in florida. i have no license to drive now. still pending in court. i just gotta take whatever comes. i did it, i take responsibility for it. bed time! i still sleep 10-15 hrs/day. god bless you all. |

I'm so sorry to hear you were so ill.
Do you know what caused you to get so much infection in your body?? I'm thankful someone took you to the hospital. I'm not surprised to hear you aren't 100% yet -- you went through a lot and it does take time to build yourself up again. I am glad to hear you quit smoking - even if it was for only 6 weeks!! I've been smoke-free now 11 years and 2 months. I'm so blessed - I honestly never have thoughts about smoking. I had a serious case of stomach virus a few weeks ago. I was down with that for about 5 or 6 days, and then it took me another week to rest up and start to feel like myself again. ![]()
