Okay you can tell I have very little life and that what I can do must be limited because here I am again.

Today I must do a bit of cleaning because ever dish in my kitchen is dirty and neatly stacked on the counter. My kitchen was very clean not long ago but B and his gf come over and manage to somehow dirty every dish in the kitchen.

I bought my mom one of those Digital Picture frames for Christmas. I have been wanting to for years and the prices are finally manageable so today I am going to see about scanning some pics of my grandparents and her/our family to put on it.

I feel a bit better today, as long as I move slow and don't do any major manual labor I should be okay. So.......scanning and sewing and slowly loading dishwasher.

I was wondering if anyone has a special traditional dish that they make or have every thanksgiving.

Think that requires a new thread.

Who is Shellmarie? I missed her somehow......

Hey,can't those kids load the dishwasher? I know you do it best & they probably mess it up but that's called learning to do for themselves.

about kids in my kitchen, I'd just as soon they stay out myself, LOL. as I fear it would end up more hinderance than help. Guess it shouldn't be that way butat least did want to say she is not the only one that loves a bit of spoiling when it's possible.
It'll all end far to fast as it is I fear.

I too got my hair trimmed. I was surprised at how it turned out. The hairdresser was able to just use a brush and dry my curls out and it looked nice. really surprised me, wish I had the ummpah to hold my arms up and hands to twirl that brush and accheive the same effects myself.

I never tire of hearing that I have less gray than they do yet. When they say how do you want the top, I always say to take it over to the side where mt biggest spot of gray is. That way it usually cover up most of it. so far, so good. i have fine hair and apparently, a lot of it. they usually make so such comment. guess it makes for a better tip is what they are hoping LOL. I am dreading when I will hear how thin it is as it is already happening. I am shedding a lot more than I ever have.

houghchrst & anyone getting shots, I hope they have helped - I was awake all night but did get a short nap earlier. I hope to sleep tonight tho'. The shots always shake things up a bit but usually will help things a tad. I'm hoping that will continue on and that my body will always respond that way. And not get like the antibiotics have.

Pati B and his gf loaded the dishwasher one night as they were trying to be helpful but that was as far as they got because mine is a mobile and has to be rolled to the sink and hooked up. They hadn't a clue. I was so grateful then I opened the door.

Okay I was still grateful, A+ for the effort and thought but I had to rearrage the dishes and then add some more. I have been meaning to show them how but I know I will have to hide everytime someone loads it.

It took me months to get a clue and stop watching the bf load when I had my surgeries. I was forever amazed that anything came clean when it was done.

While I would love for someone to do it I would love even more for someone to do it right.

As for learning to do for themselves; I would rather they learn to do it when they have to rewash their own dishes LOL.

Shortcake likes to help me unload.

Chris, what a pretty little girl your mom was and is probably a beautiful woman like you!

She looks a bit sad to me, it may just be the times when the pic was taken.

Joy, my kitchen is small and my kids would be spread out all over it.

This year I hope to get all the grands together to bake Christmas cookies at my dd's home. She has evey type of cutters you can imagine! I have over 50, and she has me beat by a 100 or so!

Can you imagine 5 little ones shaking colored sugar on cookies! What a riot that will be! LOL, what a mess it will be, but memories are so worth a mess!
