Hello!

Not too many posters down here, so I usually don't look. Only your doctor will be able to tell you what you test results mean. It is good that you are at a Rheumatologist for your answers.

I have had a low positive ANA 1:160 homogenous pattern for a few years/with low positive E sedementation rate (swelling) and low positive RA factor...among other blood issues.

I had a series of small CVA's 4 years back and they found the cause to be the 'antiphospholipid syndrome' a clotting disorder, secondary to lupus.

I have had 2 abnormal muscle biopsies...doctor's looking to see if lupus related. (muscle issues)

I take 12 mg of methotrexate, once a week, with folic acid daily, combined with prednisone, along with other medications.

I have added another issue to my complicated diagnoses.

I hope you receive your answers soon.

Oh...one thing I would like to add. Once I started the medicine. Within a few months time, my blood work became normal except for 'chronic disease anemia.'

I hope I can be of assistance, if you have any questions!
