Heard back from the Mayo Clinic

I just got a letter from Dr. Mokri at the Mayo Clinic. He says that his work is all in the area of spontaneous CSF leaks, not post-surgical leaks like mine, so he doesn't think he can help me.

Gosh, I am sorry to hear that for you. Do you have a direction to go for help? Did you ask Dr. Mokri for a name of a doctor who specializes in your type of leak? How are you doing?

Thanks, Baffled. The ENT I've been seeing at Johns Hopkins has sent me to see a neurologist there, but my appointment isn't until May. The neurologist specializes in hydrocephalus, so presumably he knows something about CSF disorders.

I'm doing better this week, but my symptoms have been so variable over the last 2 months, I never know when I'm going to feel lousy again.
