Wow, it has been awhile since I posted an updte on hubby. I think I pissed his attorney off because she has dropped his case. Oh well she never did what she was hired for in the first place.
I put together a portfolio on brain injury and I included all the emails to his employer begging them to get him to a Neurophysiologist, I also included everything from his skating accident prior to all of this and I mailed it to the Governor of Texas, they have since forwarded it to the Commissioner for the TX Division of Insurance.
January 2, a new law went into affect whereas before you go to a review committee you have to 1st go back to their designated doctor. Well that appointment is set for February 23. This may be a good thing for him since he saw the same doc back in October and this doc is the one who told me to keep pushing and not let it go that they were trying to get out of covering the brain since he had the brain surgery prior to the Work related injury. All I can do is cross my fingers and pray.
Is he doing better? Well depends on what day it is, he told me this morning he is having a good day, we take good days when we get them, and deal with bad days when he has them. But I am discovering that most of his good days are only here because of the Tramadol, but whatever works. I just hate that he is having to take them so regularly (4-6 a day). But that is the only way to keep the pain in his head at bay.
So not much of an update here!
And as always thanks for being here for me!
