The AME Guidelines are for giving an RSD impairment rating, and how it is done? I am scheduled for 1 on Friday.

Geesh.....Sorry I meant AMA. I think the drugs were typing. The bad part is I proof read it and it looked okay.
Thanks,

Sithie you may not like this, read this link ok if you are going for a AME from your lawyer ask him or her about this. Ask if they will use the neurology chapter for you read the whole thing I know it is long but may help you to understand wht Ins. is doing to us..if you see what they want to see is 8 things at once like swelling skin color so on who has all 8 at once right! so see if you can print the neurology chapter for RSD and exslpain how the AMA wants RSD found through using it this way...
Despite numerous attempts by Kirkpatrick to obtain a response to his complaint, none was forthcoming from the AMA until he wrote to Dr. Michael Maves, Executive VP and CEO of the AMA. http://rsdfoundation.org/test/images/MavesEdited2_000.jpgIn his letter of June 25, 2004, Kirkpatrick requested that Maves publish a prompt retraction of the clinical guidelines. 1 (http://rsdfoundation.org/test/AMAreferences.html). Rather than publish a retraction, Maves instead directed Kirkpatrick to a neurology chapter in the same volume, where he claimed different, less stringent diagnostic criteria for RSD could be found . 3 (http://rsdfoundation.org/test/AMAreferences.html), 4 (http://rsdfoundation.org/test/AMAreferences.html) He suggested the neurology approach allows for "greater flexibility to the diagnostic criteria..." for RSD.
I hope this helps
