I really believe that weight, stress, anxiety and sleep are interconnected, and, personally, I have trouble keeping them in balance. For the last forty five days I am having the problem of Stress and Anxiety. First I thought it is something usual when I could not sleep properly. But now it is the stress and anxiety that I can’t sleep properly I want help desperately. I can’t figure out what is wrong. I need mental relaxation. I even tried to do meditation but couldn’t concentrate. What can I do?

Balance is very important. It takes a lot of discipline to keep things balanced. Try setting out schedules with a couple of hours a day devoted to family or yourself. I was having the same problem. I was into a job in which I had to work more than 12 hrs. The Bible suggests taking an entire day off from work every week. I think its pretty good advice. You need to take care of your self caz it will affect you biologically. Try using the Theramood product. I tried it and believe me it gave me relaxation.. We people usually think of taking drug during stress and anxiety. May be we get some relaxation for few moments (initially few hours) but what after that. You wont be able to continue with those things. Soon you will need a high dose and you will be addicted to those things. Try using Theramood you don’t even need the doctor’s subscription but consult your physician if you have been or are currently being treated for any condition.

Bennet,
I have been living that viscious cycle for many years. I worked the a swing shift, I took over the counter meds until I finally discussed with my Dr. an alternative. I was placed on a small dose of an antidepressant that would work to help me sleep.
Then I developed a brain disorder in my cerebellum, which increased my stress, The meds I have to take have made me gain weight. I would lay down at night and my thoughts would race. I went to a psychologist and was put on an antidepressant. I have had one drama in my life after another.
I have asked my Psychiatrist 'how can I shut my brain off at night, he said I will always have problems because of my temporal lo9be problems and cerebellar problems. Not the answer I wanted to hear.
In the past year I have had pneumonia in both of my lungs twice, I then had a g-tube placed due to aspitating fluids and food in my lungs. With that procedure my stomach was nicked and it leaked into my abdomin. I became septic and almost died.
I did gain one thing they figured out that I have sleep apnea, I had a test done and I was never going into REM sleep, the sleep you need to feel rested:eek: I was placed on a C-PAP machine it is not the most comfortable but I do feel a little more rested.
Good Luck to you, I hope you find the sleep that you need to reduce the stress and anxiety that you feel. I can't say that I a wonderful sleep pattern or my stress and anxiety is gone but most of that is due to my medical condition, and rotten circumstances, Ijust got divorced, I live with my parents, My mom is an alcohol;ic and my oldest son is in jail for a DUI, flight to avoid arrest, hitting a police car and hitting and injuring an officer! WOW, it feels good to get that off my chest!
Good Luck!
