Long time since my last post. I had trouble with my user name and getting back in and then forgot my password (big surprise). So I worked it and worked it and finally got back in this morning! Yipee! I have been viewing all the posts sporatically and have indeed, felt such anquish for all of us. I've missed not being able to interact with you guys and thats all changed now, thank heavens!
Well, if you guys have forgotten me let me reintroduce myself. I'm a 53 yrs young woman and was diagnosised with a giant annie (17mmX17mm) on my Lt. ICA in 6-05. Had coiling and stent placement on 7-01. And just recently I had another recoiling and stent placement in May of 06. Just had another MRI/MRA and it's opened back up again to 9mm, but am asymptomatic with it. Not like before with the excruciating headaches and vision disturbances. The Doc says he just wants to watch it because it is outside my subarachnoid space and if it should rupture I would start with a nose bleed. And since I'm not having any symptoms with it, it's considered stable. Plus I'm not sure if I want anymore hardware in my head.......I'm picking up Howard Stern on satallite radio as it is! LOL!!!! I've sneezed, coughed, lifted things and just do anything I really did before. My energy is back and things look good, metaphorically speaking, as I'm still legally blind in my left eye since the first coiling, but am use to that too!
Just wanted to let everyone, that things do get better with time and you can't let these darn things rule our lives. I still have 2 others, which have remained the same size. I started smoking again, which my family, doctors and I are upset over, but its hard to quit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So Hello to everyone and it's good to be back! Kat
