I see Kaiti that you usually do the greeting, I hope I am not stepping on your toes. Sorry if I am. Just let me know.

Morning all !! Hope you enjoyed the sermon or if you are not a church goer then getting to sleep in and maybe that fresh cup of coffee.

I hope yesterday was a clean and sober day for you and those you care for and if not then today is another day to try again. :)

As I posted in Addictions I may be talking to myself here but it is not uncommon. I don't mind, it kind of makes me feel like I have a purpose to be here and see if I can be of use to someone or at least someone can help me if I need it.

The sun is once again shining but we are in bitter dangerous temps where I am at. Stupid Michigan weather. It has only been winter here for a month and according to the groundhogs we will have an early spring. Whatever.

Well I have gone on inanely enough so I will be around. :)

Anybody can start a roll call, so don't feel like you 'stepped on toes'.;)

It's just nice to see some more activity here. :D Since the forum crashed and was offline for several months, this place has been pretty slow.

I believe that every post here may be helpful to others - especially to someone who is only lurking (not posting) but still hoping to find some answers. ;)

Just wanted to share the following reading - it hit home for me!! :)

You are ready

You are ready, right now, to achieve whatever you choose to achieve. There is energy, desire, creativity and effectiveness rising up inside of you, ready to be released.

You are prepared for whatever may come your way. You are in a position to take it all in and make it all good.

There are deeply held values that you are eager to express. You have magnificent dreams that now can be brought to life.

You have what it takes to make this the best day you've ever known. All the lessons you've learned, all the experiences you've been through, have made you ready.

Better than ever, you now understand what it means to live fully. More than anytime before, you now have access to opportunities for meaningful and lasting achievement.

Just think about how well prepared you are, and that makes you even more so. Now you are ready, now you are willing, and now you are watching yourself begin to make it happen.

As teddie said, not stepping on toes at all.....I usually just happen to be up at teh crack of dawn on the east coast....although there are a few night owls that could beat me to it;)

Well, we had gotten a phone call yesterday morning from our Landlord saying that the house was going to be shown on Monday mornign at 10....Dont' know if i am repeating myself, sorry if I am. Anyhow, been cleaning and getting everything doen aroudn here so no one trips over anything.,,......but I have to publicly say that my husband helped with housework today:eek:  I know cold day in hades:eek: But he was awsome today.....he put up with my running around like a chicken with my head cut off and my attitude because i was bent on having curtains made this weekend, but without an iron I was in a panic....so had to borrow the iron from my landlord....bless her, she saved my sanity:)

Hope everyone is safe and heck, it's almost 9 and the onyl thing I saw on that Super bowl was repeats of the openign drive:D Bout ready to go see if there are any funny commercials left.....oh crap, gotta finish the curtains first......mannnnnnnn.

Hey teddiebears that almost brought tears to my eyes. I hope/wish for it to be true but I know my fears prevent me from doing all I can.
I too find myself often lurking but my therapists tell me that my experiences have given me the ability to possibly help others and hopefully I can and maybe take something away for myself in doing so.

Jeez Kaiti, sounds like you have your plate full. Are you moving far from your current location ? I know what you mean about your other half. 'Course I can't really say anything because my fiance has been doing just about everything since I got hurt in August. I am finally getting around enough to get the dusting done (don't trust him for that, too many knick knacks). Still don't know where everything in the kitchen is. I hope everything goes a little smoother from here on out for you and good luck with those curtains.

Well, as far as moving goes, it's all u pin the air. Hubby woudl be happy to move to Central PA, as that is where his family is from--ok his dad's side:rolleyes: and I am not against moving there, I just dont' like change, so it's like pulling teeth to get me to move out of where I grew up and where we have lived for the past 11 yrs.....takes alot to pick up and move:(

Never did get them curtains done......had a longer work day and the dog had to go get his rabies shot tonight, so I'll get them done, oh.......when ever I want the space....maybe by the weekend....I hate giving myself a deadlien that i don't know if i can keep, especially when my work schedule this week is so wacky.

Well sorry about them there curtains. Yeah I don't like change either but I sure as heck would love to move. I live in the city and I hate it even though I been here 13 years. Can't afford to move though. Never out of state at least not until my mother passes. God forbid.

That's par tof my problem. My famiyl is all around the area, within about 20 miles for the most part. His family, as I have found out from the past year is all over the country, so I guess I am the bumpkin of the families here.

I am not too worried about the curtains, my son has some up, but I just figured I'd make new ones.....needing some type of change over here, just nothing too drastic.
