Our son keep throwing stuff over the fence. I've had a neighbor yelling at me twice over our back fence. I was in my house in the kitchen and he was motioning to me to come outside. He told me the stuff my son is throwing over is clogging his pool filter and that he is having to spend money to have a pool guy come out and get stuff unstuck.
The other neighbors are sympathetic even though they have to be frustrated. No one gives us back the stuff he throws over anymore. He hardly has any toys left. My daughter told me he threw a stuffed animal over an it hit the little girl next door in the head. I'm glad it was something soft and it didn't hurt her. I can picture us getting sued and ending up on Judge Judy and her yelling at us that we need to control our kid.
We are looking into getting a batting cage type structure. We have only been able to get one quote from anyone on building it. I didn't know if you knew of something better we could get or if you know of any companies who specialize in custom batting cages.
We've been keeping our son inside and he's been very difficult because he wants to go outside. A little boy should be able to play outside. I don't have time to stay outside with him all the time and if I take him out he doesn't want to come back in.
If I make sure he doesn't take anything outside he will take off his clothes and throw them over - the pool guy really hates socks too! What's a Mom to do?!
