I am not too sure what the offical answer is but...
I have seen posters post supportive sites here eg. from medical sites, newspaper articles, etc,
Sites that are condition specific (IE MS support site),In fact the old BT(before the crash) had a sticky in each forum where people could post links specific to there condition... it was a good information source)
Links to picture hosting sites (IE pics of your kids , holidays etc),
Sites to inform people (IE myhometown dot com)
NO-NOs are (in addition to your list...)
Any pay sites (ie where you have to pay to get in/join)
Any site begging/asking for money,
Any site YOU think might offend, If you think it might offend... It will.
Political and religous sites I would steer clear of.( some informative sites about religons could be posted in Sanctuary for Spiritual Support forum tho' I suppose)
I Hope that David or a mod will come in and clarify. :D

It would be hard to list every kind of website out there that would be considered an inappropriate link. In some cases it depends on the nature of the post accomaning it.
An exellent example would be....
A member posts the url of a website that has information relevent to the topic, forum, or to neurology. This is a good link.
If a member were to post a meesage trying to recruit new members, this would not be appropriate.
To broaden the spectum of examples such as what bewolf offered....
Any links posted as an advertisement....
Obvious examples are what we call SPAM.
Another inappropriate use of links in thius manner could be this...
A member decides to open a wheelchair store online, and puts his link in his signature.
This would come under the same kind of violation as SPAM, but not the same type of aggessive action would be taken.
Spammers get immediate & permanent bans.
Solicitation of funds/donations or charity of any kind.
All political & religeous sites.
These are some of what would be considered inappropriate.
Context of the post relevent to the link is key....

Take a look at the single posting in Men's Health and Neurology Forum. Because I don't want to open a Pandora's box, I haven't opened it, but It seems to offer something which may not be true to the tone of this discussion group.
