I ordered Pull-Ups GoodNites Night Time Underpants for Boys, S-M (38-65 lbs),
are those the good ones? I read a few customer comments about it not leak, etc..
I am desparate because of the wet blankets in the mornings.

Jenna,
Megs is 12 yrs old, and wears the goodnights for girls all the time. I'm not saying she has never had an accident or wet thru, but I love them. My 4 yr old wears them to bed and doesn't leak thru too much. (If he does it's usually because I've not been good about restricting drinks after a certain time) Good luck, let us know how they work out

thanks tracy:
I was hoping I was getting the kind u get for Megan.
how much do u pay for them? I paid $15.99 for one pack of 27 pull ups on amazon. That was the cheapest I can find. I bought 2 packs because amazon gives free shipping for orders above $25.

I get them at WalMart and they are around 14.99 for that size of package.
Good luck

yes. Huggies Goodnights are definitely the ones you want. They took care of my boy with very rare leaks until he was 11-12 yrs old. (it took repeated voids to make them soggy and often they would be really really soggy but still not leak.(and he was a BIG boy with uh...'high output capacity') Pampers brand came along later than the Huggies and we never tried them...never needed to....so I don't know if they work equally well or not.
i hope it works well for you all.....every little thing that can decrease the drain on your energy is so helpful.

It is the Goodnights. I just assumed (you know what that means LOL) that Huggies Kimberly Clarke made them. The kind you ordered are the right ones deary

OK, tracy, I feel better now :p
I just can't take any more of washing all the blankets almost every day. If I bought the wrong kind, I was going to ........... do this.

yeah...you got the right ones. and I think Tracy's right...it's been a couple of years since we bought them...but I think you'll get just as good a deal at WalMart as ordering on line...if you don't NEED to order online to have it funded.
It used to be, i don't know if it still is, but used to if you got DHS services for your disabled child and they were over 3 yrs old, still requiring diapers, your casemanager could order them through a medical supply store and have them shipped directly from Kimberly Clarkto you, and Medicaid for Disabled Child would pay for them. Near the end of our using them Medicaid cut the reimbursement to the med supply to a ridiculously low rate and most of them quit providing the Goodnights. They couldn't afford to provide something they didn't even get reimbursed cost for. The last shipment we got they insisted on sending generic adult 'continence pants' which were poor fitting, cheap and thin and totally useless. Anyway...I don't know if you are doing this out of pocket but it's so expensive, worth it, but expensive. IF your son has services through an agency you might want to ask your caseworker to check into if you can get reimbursement.

yeah, Jake gets diapers from medicaid, our vendor actually supplies Luvs, which I like them, he does fine during the day with them..
Just in the mornings when he wakes up, and when we go out, I have a hard time changing his diaper when he is standing up.
So for those 2 reasons, I want to try the pull ups. I am buygin them out of pocket right now. I am going to call my vendor tomorrow to see if they supply pull ups instead of diapers. My guess would be no, since they are even more expensive. but I guess it doesn't hurt to ask. If they don't pay for the pull ups, and if they don't leak in the morning, I will pay for them out of pocket, it beats doing laundry everyday.

Riley gets her pull ups from Medicaid- I was scared to death they would be the cheap icky ones- BUT~! She gets something called "Sleep Pants" by Curity. They are awesome, she hasn't EVER leaked, even when she goes to bed with a 10oz bottle. That was something that even Good Nights couldn't handle.
I did have to tell them NOT to send me the cheap junk, and yes, that is exactly how I said it. When we first started getting diapers they sent her these cheap thin blue diapers that were nothing more than a paper towel with a plastic liner and tape. I complained about leaks, it was insane and they started sending us the Attends brand which was much better.
Here there is only one agency that will supply the diapers/pulls ups b/c there is NO money in it at all for them.

We just put Noah back on the pullup program. He was 100% trained for 3 years until we started Lamictal.
We used to get the Huggies Pullups but Noah will not wear them any longer because of the characters on them. I asked for samples and they sent 3 different plain white ones. I'm pretty sure that the one we picked is the Curity sleep pant also.
Hopefully if we can get this whole medication problem straightened out we won't need them any more...

Hi Jenna - We used goodnights for many years! They are great but not foolproof. Using a velux blanket helped - they can withstand a lot of washings!!! One thing that we found that really helped was to take care when putting the puul-up on. You need to make sure his penis is facing down into the center of the crotch of the diaper.
Good luck.

Hi Jenna,
I use the Goodnights for my 8 year old son because he isn't night dry yet. I find that they work better than the store brand overnight pull ups. We usually don't have any leaks but it also depends on how much he drinks during the day.

OK, just a quick update, I got my (well, not really mine), anyways, the Pull-Ups GoodNites, we have used it for 2 or 3 nightes now, pretty good, pretty good..no leaking in the mornings anymore. Very easy to change in the car, tried that today too.
thanks everyone for your recommendations. I called up the vendor who supplies us the diapers, he said they supply pull ups to, but he said they supply Tranquility brand? Are they any good? anyone has used them before?

When I was buying diapers myself before I knew medicaid would pay for them I was buying the Tranquality brand. Micky (Jake and Katies mom) sent me some that her Jake had outgrown- They were AWESOME! Our supplier can't. or won't get them.
If thay are anything like the diapers they should be good.
Hope it works for ya!
