Hi friends! I have missed you all! I am Lisa formally lanenderrose but I couldn't log back in under that name for some reason so I just changed it all together. So....has anyone improved at least a little. I got a job shelving books at a library for now. It get me out and gets me doing something. I am still SO tired though. I was hoping that would improve more than it has. Oh well, I am alive! Blessings to all of you:)

Hi Lisa,
I thought about you (and many others here) during the months bt was down. It wouldn't let me on until I re-registered, so I just used the same old name! LOL.
Glad to hear you are shelving books in a library. I've worked in libraries and right now I work in a bookstore, so I understand shelving! Sorry to hear you are still so tired, though. I still take a nap most days, but some days I manage to get thru without one.
Hugs,
Joanne

Hi Lisa. Yeah, I remember you!!
It's great that your able to work. The tiredness stays with you awhile, as I'm sure you already know. And doing something extra, like work, all adds to it. You know the old story, TIME.
I had to re-register also, as I guess we have all had to. I was Lulu B on the old forum.
It's so good to see so many coming back. It's a great testiment to BT. ;)
Hugs
Kathie xoxo

:D I remember you too!! I'm Firefly / Tricia, good to see you on!! How are you feeling?? It has been a long time!! Glad to see everyone coming back!!
Hi Joannef & Kathie!! :D
My status is about the same, still pretty much homebound. Light sensitivity, headaches, short term memory (what's that?) I still have bad insomnia, coordination and processing skills, but I am getting a little better each day. I think it takes years for the fatigue to go away? I just went to sleep clinic last week, I still haven't got the results yet? I just started taking Womens One a Day Vitamins. I need the vitamins bad, we all do. And lots & lots of water!!! I have done a lot of research on "Annie's"! I am going to the Dr. at least once a month still (family pract.) He has taken over my care and is very good. I am on a lot of non-narcotic meds. Everyone should find a family Dr. close to your house that knows a lot about vascular problems, like strokes and heart attacks... they know about "Annie's" too!! Mine is excellent & help me more than all the specialist!! It takes the brain a long time to heal, just have patience and don't over do it! Listen to your body, if you are tired, sleep! This is not something that you can rush or ignore or it will come back to bite you in the butt! Everytime I over do it, I pay for days!! I have just accepted that it is going to be a long time before I get close to being normal! The best therapy is to do something you really enjoy when you are stressed out!! I write poetry and listen to music. You can light candles and get in a nice tub & soak with some soothing music??? You have to have an outlet of somekind!! I am always here if you need someone to talk to!! Take care and I will keep all of you in my prayers!! Love Tricia
