Howdy Rachel!

I have epilepsy and I am unable to get an individual health insurance policy
due to my having a pre-existing condition.

If you have epilepsy or one of those other "pre-existing conditions" that will
either disqualify you or make you pay through the nose I would forget about
an individual insurance policy. If that is also your case, join a credit union or
some other organization that has a GROUP insurance program.

Other organzations that offer group insurance are churches, clubs and fraternal organizations.
