Hi
does/has anyone here suffered a twisted pelvis?
If so,how do I untwist mine? Would a chiropractor help to shove my sacroiliac joint back into place?
Thanks
Moldy

I actually had this one tossed at me during a PT consult. I ended up not having the PT because it was contingent on other factors but the PT seemed very knowledgeable. The plan was to do some aquatherapy and stretching in order to get things working better. I would see if you can't get into PT before attempting a chiro.

Hi Moldy,
In my case there is no fixing as it twisted when I was hurt in an accident and healed that way. The spams from the injury keep pulling taunt on it too. SO if I work on decreasing the symptoms that is all I can do.
I find I can't stand more then a few minutes, as in a line without pain and giving out to sit.
Lidoderm patches, daily during the day, BioFreeze rub, my hot tub, and the meds I take for my knee and cervial problems help.

PS.
I had a Chiro work on it, found that it was less money to have the PT do a good massage on it and work on the pots tha hurt.

If it's a result of muscle imbalance a good PT or a good Massage Therapist (Not the touch feely kind, the kind who works with deep tissues) can help.
