Does anyone have a ballpark? Is it covered by insurance at all?

Thanks for any info...

I did some research a few months ago and found the price ranges from $25,000 to $50,000+ and this just covered the ketamine infusion itself, not the doctor or hospital fees. As far as insurance...you'd have to check with your insurance carrier.

my actual booster infusions are not costly.$ 596.00 the 5 day ICU if are far more expensive, mine by insurance was 90k but then discounted by hospital and insurance they were paid 30k. there are addtional costs not in there for Doctors and the booster room nurses etc. but follow up infusions were surprisingly reasonsinible.
Big cost to the insurance company again was the 5 day ICC treatments. average 30,000. Especially if doing self pay. Hope this helps. I have to date spent 300k with the insurance company and well over 100,000 of my own money seeking cures and relief for rsd. That just my expenses for ketamine, I have many more expenses in meds and alternative medicine. I am in my fourth year and have had 3 5 day, one lidocaine 2 ketamine and 23 booster infusions since March 05. hope this helps.

Hi,

I have had 2 - 5 day ketamine infusions at a very well know facility, one of the best the cost was not near 90k, I think the whole infusion not including boosters was around $16000.00 each for the hospital and around $3000.00 each time for the doctor visits many times during the day for 5 days and I was in a step down unit which is one step down from ICU. Excellant care..

Hope it helps.
