Hey All , I am new to posting here but not new to the forums.

I right now I am having severe pain and morphine is not helping..

I have nerve pain and heard about smoking pot and was wondering about it ..

And wanted to hear others opinions in regards to it.

My the only problem that bothers me about it.. I don’t want to get some only to find out that some dealer is laced it with some other drug only to try to have me become hooked I am not into the at all.. where iam it is illegal here.

And i agree with what i have read and everyone has said pot and other medications do not get you high when your in that much pain.. as it may someone without pain at all and just using it as a recreational drug .. not for a medical reason.

it will help you to be able to function and cope .. as people who do not have a medical condition would say normal.. it would help you to function as normal . or the best normal you can be.

Here where we are it is easier to obtain than you might think. Most people that sell pot are people like you and me. It is a very "normal" thing around here. What I would do is make discreet inquiries with friends you can trust. More people use it that you can even imagine. You should be able to find some relatively easy, and not have to go to some place like East Hastings to find a "risky" dealer.
I wish you luck in your search for it. While it is illegal here, usually if you are caught with a small amount (less than an ounce) they just take it and give you a hard time.
They aren't as hard-nosed here as in the states.

Wolverine, i do not know where you are located geographically, but you say it is illegal where you are, so obviously when you are trying to find a reliable source to find cannabis just make sure you are discreet. I agree with trix in asking reliable friends and acquaintances. Also, there are many different kinds of cannabis, regarding strenghts etc... It may help to do some web research and find out which types are most common in your area and how much you want to spend.

Friends of mine who use cannabis on a regular basis, some for recreation, and some for medical purposes, have never been sold cannabis that was laced with anything else, but i understand your concern. Make sure whoever you are getting the cannabis from has been vouched for by a friend or acquaintance you trust. That is usually a good bet.
