Does anyone know about OPC-3. Is it hype or are the benefits real? It is expensive. http://www.opc.cc/index.html

are basically antioxidants. Grapeseed extract is much less expensive and
adequate. It is used for allergies, ADHD, etc.
With the renewed emphasis on anti-oxidants...to prevent LDL oxidation etc
they are having a surge of popularity.
The new Limbrel for arthritis is also in this class.

Wonder if it is worth adding. I have CAD and bypass 6 yrs ago. My hsCRP has been as high as 13 - most recent was about 5 which is still way too high.
Here is a study of OPC-3 and hsCRP will be checked. http://www.clinicaltrials.gov/ct/gui/show/NCT00331227
This article may answer my own question. http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/546099_1 Flavonoid-Rich Grapeseed Extracts: A New Approach In High Cardiovascular Risk Patients?

The company has so much confidence in their product that they are running Google Adsense Ads.
This is just another company pitching product. There is nothing special about what they are doing. I couldn't even find a list of ingrediants in the supplement. Who is to say if the product is even pure.
If you are worried about hearth health research nattokinase which has in fact been studied and is available from many different suppliers.

I have used the OPC-3 Isotonix brand because it's pH balanced and pharmaceutical grade, for 4 yrs with very good results. I started using it for back pain from a car accident instead of pain killers everyday, and it's also helped my allergies so now I don't have to take Allergra anymore. Antioxidants are very important for combating free radicals that are all around us, food, water, air, exercise, smoking, pollution to name just a few.
Most people do not take enough of the product to see results, so take one serving for each 150 lbs. and add 1-3 more servings for health challenges. I take a total of 3 servings per day, that works the best for my body. You may need to experiment to find what dosage works best for your needs.
The product also cleans impurities out of the blood and pulls toxins from the body, helps keep platelets from sticking together, and will slightly thin the blood. Make sure if you are taking any prescriptions you check with your pharmacist before taking. If you need a site to read the label of ingredients, let me know and I'll post again.

hello. I have been researching OPC Antioxidants (http://www.opcguide.com) too!
I am having a hard time with decising if OPC-3 (http://opcguide.com/Isotonix_OPC-3.htm) is better then OPCXtra (http://opcguide.com/OPCXtra.htm)?
Anyhow, I have found OPCGuide.com (http://www.opcguide.com) useful with my research into the Health Benefits of OPC (http://opcguide.com/What_are_the_health_benefits_of_OPC.htm)
