Is 90 of ms contin (45 twice a day) the same dose as 90 avinza? (when you convert the avinza to ms contin)?

They are BOTH morphine .. the only difference is how the drug is released. MSContin claims a effectiveness of 12 hrs (reality 8-10) Avinza claims a 24 hr effectiveness.

IN theory .. they would produce the same pain relief.. in reality, IMO, there will be some pain level differences - over a 24 hr period.
