I had a CT scan of my lungs on December 18 which showed "peripheral patchy areas of ground glass opacities bilaterally and a pulmonary nodule in the right posterior lung base laterally measuring 1.5cm and multiple nodes throughout the mediastinum primarly in the pretrachael space and subchondral region, indicating underlying adenopathy.
I had my follow-up CT today, which showed no changes, even though I did a 14 day round of leavaquin antibiotic, and I have been on a prednisone taper since December 18th.
Can anyone tell me if this is indicative of intersitial lung disease or some type of lung cancer? I would have thought if it was inflammatory in nature (they thought maybe pneumonia) that there would have been some resolution by know.
Any ideas would be great.
