Hello everyone I have been away for a while.haven't been well and
really pissed off as of late.

Just recieved my renewal papers 3 hours before expiry

Had to call the health ministers office in calgary and threaten him
with a writ of mandamus...one hour later health Canada called to
garanty I would get it in time.

Health Canada rep called me today and we had a very long
conversation and I found out that next year I will lose my Personal
Production License along with everyone else who is on the Health
Canada MMAD.

Thats right ...when the new ammendments come out in the spring we
all lose our Growing permits.

We will be obliged to purchase from PPS.

When I said that with the quantities I use it would be impossible to
afford 2000 dollars a month in meds. I was told that the neocons
don't care.

It was suggested that MMAD exemptees should form an official group
and challange Health Canada.

Basically I was told that the program will cease to function in any
effective way.

The people in charge of MMAD are constantly facing tactics and
procedual rangles designed to frustrate staff ,exemptees and Doctors.

This program for all intents and purposes will become a data base
for the cops to fill thier new prisons with medical marijuana
patients.

I'm sorry to bring this negative news to all this season..I thought
you might like to be ready.

I will not divulge the persons name as they were very honest and
concerned,but I will say that the health canada Rep believes that if
this happens all **** will break lose.

have always thought the only reason pot wasn't already legal here in BC is because they just hadnt quite figured out how to tax it yeat. They do seem to have it in for pain sufferers this time.. They have made WCB all that money.. well duh they took it off of us pain sufferers.. 2.5 % indeed.

G-Man yes, all hell will break loose, there are quite a few people willing to battle the Gov on this topic. The Science is there now to support us now.

And you know something I think you folks will win. The Medical Marijuana movement may be small but they are smart articulate and they have fought this battle before and won, and I think there is a lot of support for them now
I wish I was still part of the Canadian Medical Marijuana Movement so much has been accomplished in the last ten years I really cant see them rolling it back to the old days, I am sure there will be a hell of of fight if they try
