I am changing from MSN powered by Qwest DSL to Comcast Cable. I can't keep my old email address so what do I need to do to reregister here? I really want to keep my username and password.
I don't know if I'll get back to this before my current service is turned off but will check here as soon as I get back online and hope to find an easy answer.
Thanks so much. I've been terrified I will lose all my email and favorites, etc. I keep getting different answers from different CS reps and both companies.
Thanks for any help!!! Hope to see BT soon.

You need to do nothing to continue here.
Your username and password are ISP-independent. You can log on here with them from any computer anywhere in the world. That's why you're always told to "gaurd your password" when you go to websites. Anyone who has your username and password to Any website you're a member of can log on as you.(banking, etc.)
Automatic e-mail will no longer work though. PM still will. You'll have to give out your new e-mail address to friends here through PM.

Thanks so much Matt. I still have MSN until I get IE figured out and everything from MSN imported. If money were not an object, I would keep both just so I could keep MSN. My knowledge of computers wouldn't even fill a small thimble and my anxiety levels are thru the roof.
Are there any EASY/IDIOT proof ways to make this change over?
All info will be gratefully received!!! I will start new thread if necessary.

Well if you don't change your email addy to the new one, you won't get any emails from BrainTalk.
But comcast doesn't like BrainTalk's emailer and blocks most of the emails anyways :(

Sure enough, I found one in my Junk Mail folder. A poster had to repeat it in a PM before I thought to check the Junk Mail.:(
