All you gamers out there! The ones that have amost every gaming system ever made :D

Well, that's my son. Totally disorganized always, has ADD & we need some help (if he will listen to me) I am too sick to do it for him this time. But it's time he learned how to get and stay organized :D It doesn't help his girfriend is the same way. Aw, but they're in love :) I'm happy for them. She pretty much lives here now and we love her.

OK, so I am addicted to shows like Neat & Mission Organization. If I had the money and the nerve (sure don't want our mess on TV  )
I'd try to get them.

So, do you have some good recommendations on types of storage for all the different sized games ? The older ones probably can just be boxed. But he still uses a lot of the semi old ones!

I know there are pastic media storage boxes, but that woud get a bit expensive and then there's the where does he store them. So probably some type of furniture or shelves.

You probably think I'm nuts to have to ask. Oh well, the way I'm feeling, maybe I am

Thanks for any suggestions,
Cathy

me again!

I know. This is boring and I should be able to figure it out myself. Unfortunately I am not well enough to go out & shop around, that's why I asked for suggestions.

I got to wondering though. How many of you "gamers" have attention deficit (ADD ) or poor organization skills? And tend to not get things done that you should be because you are so hooked on gaming?

Just curious!

Anyone manage to improve their situation ? I TRY to encourage my son (22) and give him tips. SO far not much progress and I'm having so many "bad" days, I can't be consistent in trying to help him. He takes after me :(
I coud never keep the house tidy & organized. But spending a lot of time resting to get rid of pain, I have seen so many shows re getting organized I know I can do it now. Bit by bit, by bit :D

PS I know this is a weird post, but it is "sort of" a compters question, just not your typical question.

By the way, I know a lot of people with ADD are very intelligent and can be very creative!

I don't have ADD but am not so organized as of late. All of my computer games (the ones on cds) are in two of those big 120 cd holders. They don't take up much space and you can group multi cd games together.

I don't bother keeping the boxes and the manuals and maps go into a drawer in my computer desk. Not very organized in that drawer :p

Thanks Mike,

that sounds like a good method for computer games !

I wonder, now that he's 22, if he's ready to give up the boxes. If not I'll convince him to do what I did many years ago when his room was full of game boxes. I kept just the outer "sleeve", folded them flat and put them in a box.

Now to find the most compact way to store those cartridge type games!
