Dear Maryland............I was reading in one of your responses to the question regarding differentiating spinal vs. cranial leakers, and you questioned if she had fluid coming out her nose/mouth.
Did you ever experience fluid coming out of your mouth? I CERTAINLY have! Although I've never heard anyone else say that before. When I am laying on my side at night, fluid will seep out of my mouth. Even when I seal my lips very tightly, the fluid comes out. It is different from drool. My husband laughed and told me he thought I was drooling, but it is a very thin watery fluid that has nothing to do with how wet my mouth is inside. Typically I have a very dry mouth called sjogren's syndrome, so I know it is the fluid that would normally be going down my throat.
