have an embolization which takes 6 months to work. I am at risk for a total intestinal blockage, since I had a partial one a week ago which lasted for 9 hours and felt like final stage labor.

I am going to the partner of the surgeon I went to previously (not the one who didn't show up nor the general surgeon). I don't know him, but the office evidently thought it important enough to get me in tomorrow morning. I feel betwixt a rock and a hard place. I don't want surgery because of all of my fears (being hooked up, not being able to breathe, separation, etc.), but am afraid that if I don't this could be very serious.
Hey, I am doing a 50 foot bulletin board for the library, and entitled it, "Read aAound the World." I am doing a continent in each panel and folks will traverse the world, "stepping" on tiny globes (they do this by reading a book and writing a review). Do you guys have anything you would like me to put on the maps for trivia?
Thanks guys,
Mama

Sounds like a good idea Mama, get as many opinions as you can. Health is way too important.
Your project sounds interesting and fun! Been scratching my head for some ideas, I'll throw some at you and you can pick and choose:
- Australia's original indigenous inhabitants have been here for between 40,000 to 70,000 years
- Australia began colonisation by the British in 1788 and currently has a population of approx 20 million.
- there are 6 states and 2 territories
- we are home to the largest variety of pouched marsupials, including the platypus that lives in rivers and has a duck like a bill and lays eggs!
- no-one can beat us at cricket :p

"Nobody can beat us in cricket," Is that like "Grasshopper?" lol
Thanks for the info. I'll add it to the board when I get that far. I may have to go in tomorrow, my day off (Martin Luther King Day) in order to catch up.
I hate getting extra opinions, and I had said that I wasn't going to pursue it any further, but the scare tw weeks ago coupled with my dr's warnings made me rethink it. Essentially this will probably be my last stab at it, as I am tired of the whole thing.
