Trigeminal Schwannoma

Hi everyone Im new here. I have been diagnosed a trigeminal schwannoma and I just wanted to know Im not the only person in the world who has one. I search the net but can never find much out...

Well, I have trigeminal neuralgia, and I know many here on the board do also. But I've never heard of trigeminal schwannoma before. I looked it up, and it is indeed quite rare. Have they told you what they intend to do? I have to assume it is as painful as the TN is, which can be unspeakably horrid sometimes.

Keep us posted. This sounds quite intriguing.

(oh yeah, I have MS, which is why I have turned up with the TN. There is apparrently an MS lesion on my trigeminal nerve. fun, huh?)
