I'm wondering if others have received a PM from this person...perhaps a lurker? They PM'd me....wishing me happy new years, then included information for their "religeous" convictions.
Just wondering if others recieved the same and how many "lurkers" may be out there.....reading about our personal lives...I've never really thought of this type thinking. Perhaps I shouldn't share so freely....things taking place in my life, my health info and all. Hmmmm!

Cheryl, yes I just got one for a happy new year. I checked out the website cited under the signature.

There are many lurkers out there in the NET and here in the forums. You are right about divulging personal information, but if the information isn't your phone number and address I wouldn't be too worried.

Have you ever typed your phone number (555-444-1234) or your name, city and state into Google or another browser. You should try it sometime...wow...oops...amazing what you can find out about yourself.

The website cited appears to have been built/modified today "Saturday, January 06, 2007 8:24:05 PM"...which is interesting.

It is a site about reincarnation and buddism with several photos and voice links.

There is not other information I could find in either the page source or info source.

Probably would be good to check your antivirus software program and your anti-spyware program.

If you don't run either, reply back to this thread and I can provide FREE software links. I run several spyware and adware software.:mad:

I do encourage anyone who reads this thread...DO NOT reply to the Private IM the person sent...lurker or not...just sounds very fishie to me!! :mad:
