Good Saturday Morning to you all

Good Morning all, well, at least there is 15 minutes to it left in NJ.

I know there hasn't been alot of activity around here like there used to be, but we need to be an inspiration to others that might need a hand up.

I have a few friends around where I live that understand that I am hyper as all get out, now they are seeingem bakc in action and I feel so much more like myself. With that, I will continue with the a little about me, with the hopes that others will join me.

nervous
scared of the unknown
hate change
anxious of new things
sometimes a mess
self centered----sometimes bad
I am also:
hyper
giving
helpful
self centered---the good part
organized when it comes to putting things away---look past the cluttered coffee table please and look at the nice neat magazie rack;)

Oh I know someone will be around, don't be shy and join me in being a little silly and lookingat the brightness on this beautiful day----OK, it's January here, there should be snow since it is winter, but it is 70 degrees out:confused: so looking at the brightside, I have shorts and a t-shirt on and can air my house out from the nasty germs that have crept in since fall.

I didn't say 'welcome' to you on your other post, so I'll say it now!! :D Welcome to the forum.

I won't get into a lot about myself just now, but I will say that for several weeks/months I've been battling depression again (I have a life-long history of this problem - not to mention coping with manic-depressive illness too). This is one reason I've not been here as much as I might have been recently. :rolleyes:

Glad to see some more activity here -- keep up the good work everyone!

Hi Kaiti and Teddie. Yeah, we're having a heat wave in January, but remember this is the East coast. Count to ten and the weather can turn around completely.

Well, I guess I'll confess to being a procrastinator. I always put things off. In fact in my grammar school graduatiopn autograph book, I wrote as my favorite quote: "Procrastination is the thief of time." I have made that my motto and have striven to live it out in my life.:D

Can't really say that I suffer from clinical depression. Five years ago I took an anti-depressent for anxiety, but only for a few months. When I retired from my job the anxiety went away and so did a lot of other problems. I have days where I just pull the covers up and stay in bed half of the day. I don't have to be anywhere at any specified time or answer to anyone, so, what the ****.:rolleyes: I think I'm just a garden variety 66 year old bachelor living alone with his cats.:D

I know that depression runs in my family, teddibears, but with the procrasitnation like citoig, nothing has ever been formally noted.

I know that checking in every so often somewhere and seeing something moving is especially important. Actually, it is what made me think of coming back. I had search online for any meeting places and the closest one that was publicly announced was about 2 hours one way.......I can't aafford tha tamuch gas nor that much time out of my schedule, so thank good ness this is up and running.
