Interesting blog on the importance of improving your omega 3 intake to reduce risk of heart attack.
Bear in mind with regard to the so called heart healthy spreads that they still contain a certain amount of transfat indeed the so called transfat free Omega 3 Plus contains an amount of trans fat equal to it's much advertised omega 3 content.
Plant derived omega 3 are not converted to long chain omega 3 very well and will inevitably be prevented from entering tissue cells by the omega 6 from the spread.
