davek here; still leaking a bit, waiting to see doctor in a week..........
headaches have picked up a bit...not REALLY Bad, but bad enough....coughing, sneezing, yawning, shaking my head, can bring about a short lived headache....could that be because of the leak? also having night sweats..(sometimes)...seem to pick up when headaches get bad that day......
anyone have any ideas??????????????????????

By the way hope everyone had a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

Davek,

Sorry you are going through this. I've had a spontaneous spinal fluid leak for 12 months and also have Chiari Malformation Type I. What you are describing is what we all seem to go through. I suggest you check out the CSF Leak board as we all share things that we have found helps with our leaks. I've found caffeine helps with my symptoms -sounds odd but it's been documented in medical journals for helping with the pain.

thank for the advice.......i really appreciate it.......i am not looking forward to another surgery to seal the leak.........7 surgeries on my neck were enough

Why so many surgeries ??? Maybe you should see another dr.

6 of the neck surgeries were for the fusions of my neck...........c2-c7 posterior and anterior......the 7th was for the acm
