I found the article "Neurologists Monitoring H1N1 Vaccine Recipients for Guillain Barre Syndrome" interesting. And please know, this is not a fear tactic on my part it is just that it caught my eye since my niece had Guillain Barre a few years ago although NOT caused by a vaccine...I really want to make that clear. Again, I just thought it was interesting that the Neurologists are being asked to be on the lookout.

Kathi, I am glad they are sending out this notice. Back in 1976 with the last swine flu vaccine there were more neurological, many severe, problems and deaths from the vaccine than from the flu. This vaccine has been produced differently and doctors don't expect the same neurological problems with this vaccine but it is good they are tracking any that crop up.

My daughter checked into it and found pregnant women are not to get the spray vaccine and should only get the shot variety.

My 8 yr old got the regular flu mist (not H1N1). The mist has live viruses; the shot has dead viruses.

They are advising people to get the regular vaccine first then the H1N1.

They are advising people to get the regular vaccine first then the H1N1.

They are recommending getting the two shots (reg flu & H1N1) at least 4 weeks apart and recommendations for kids 6 months + is two H1N1 shots with each shot being at least 4 weeks apart..

Does anyone know at what age babies are expected to be getting this H1N1 vaccine.
My niece has a 2 month old and I am curious.

Thanks
Linda

Please watch this series of 4 videos on YouTube:

part one.

This is an interview with Dr. Blaylock, a neurosurgeon, who is very active on this subject.

The part 2 section explains the squalene adjuvant in this vaccine...and how it may create autoimmune reactions:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2c_duS2RLGI&feature=related

The swine flu vaccine has 25,000 times the amount of mercury in the form of thiomersal as a food source (contaminated fish)

Squalene and Gulf War Syndrome:
http://www.chiroweb.com/mpacms/dc/article.php?id=31730

Squalene is not approved by our FDA....but the very same FDA approved the H1N1 vaccine containing squalene.

Whether to get either vaccine this fall is a personal choice. I just wish the public would be given full disclosure and access to other data, to make that decision.

Many people claim to get sick after a flu shot. And what this may be is the "cytokine storm" described by Dr. Blaylock. The symptoms are similar...fever, aching, chills etc.

It is a personal choice whether or not to be vaccinated. But if you choose not to be vaccinated and do catch the flu, do the rest of us a favor and STAY HOME until you have been fever-free for more than 24 hrs. Even if it's been mild enough for you that you feel well enough to go out a bit, it doesn't mean you're not still super contagious and putting the rest of us at risk. Wait until it's totally gone. For some of us, influenza is a life-threatening illness and you could make us really, really sick by exposing us. It really bugs me to see people out in public coughing and sneezing and looking clearly sick... stay home. If you MUST go to the doctor or pharmacy or store when you've got the flu, please wear a mask no matter how dumb you think it looks.

Thanks for the links, I found the information to be very eye opening.

I understand what your saying and agree with you.

However when I was able to work I worked in restaurants most of my life and some where chain restaurants and we were required to come to work sick, we worked on a point system and we were fired if we called off.

I couldn't believe working in the public and especially handling others food that we were required to come n sick.

Same said in reverse I got sick so often when I worked in this industry because of all the people that came in sick and didn't care.

If this H1N1 hits as hard as they fear it is one time I am glad that I don't get out of the house very much. Now I just have to worry about my wife, daughter, and son bringing it home. Maybe I should quarantine myself until the flu season is over:D.

I was about ready to say the same thing Mark but you beat me to it. :D

Mrs Doubtfyre,

I posted about this on another forum. Can you provide me a link?

How does a person know the fish is contaminated?

Thank you, Phil

here is the link I was given by a member here at the Autism forum.
(vaccines are discussed often there)

I do not watch that TV station because of its politics, but I did notice at the end of the clip, the anchor did say that they had "trouble" getting alternate viewpoints on this subject.

Most fish today are contaminated with heavy metals and/or dioxin/or PCBs.
The FDA has published limits on fish consumption for pregnant women, and in the Great Lakes this has just been updated to stricter warnings. You can Google that pretty easily.

The live FluMist nasal I think does not have the thiomersal (mercury) in it.
However FluMist nasal has been linked in the past to Bell's palsy attacks in those receiving it. Also snorting LIVE virus into the nose means it might cross the olfactory bulb (nerves in the nose) and travel directly to the brain. Not for me...you can be sure!

Everyone should decide for themselves about this vaccine. However, how can anyone make an informed decision when the data is so skewed?

Interested readers here may find these videos interesting too.

Dr. Len Horowitz... evaluates a recent Dr. Oz program on the H1N1 vaccine.

part 2 mentions the Canadian study finding that people who receive regular flu vaccines in the past are more likely to contract the swine flu...

There are other parts of this interview. They are are thought provoking! There are many historical facts in these videos,
that are worth watching.

He explains the "experts" experience etc as well, going beyond their official titles.
