HELLO EVERYBODY!! :D BEST WISHES FOR THE NEW YEAR!!
We are facing another new year - a year full of promise and hope. :D Let's make the most of every day ahead, striving to be the best we can be and accepting ourselves (flaws and all) while working toward eliminating any flaws we can without losing the essence of who we are in the process. :)
I want to share some of my favorite quotes regarding hope and the new year.... I hope you will enjoy some of them.....
"Every man should be born again on the first day of January. Start with a fresh page. Take up one hole more in the buckle if necessary, or let down one, according to circumstances; but on the first of January let every man gird himself once more, with his face to the front, and take no interest in the things that were and are past." Henry Ward Beecher
"It is difficult to say what is impossible, for the dream of yesterday is the hope of today and the reality of tomorrow." Robert H. Goddard
"We spend January 1 walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance the list, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives... not looking for flaws, but for potential." Ellen Goodman
"The past is a source of knowledge, and the future is a source of hope. Love of the past implies faith in the future." Stephen Ambrose
"Be always at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let each new year find you a better man." Benjamin Franklin
"We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year's Day." Edith Lovejoy Pierce
"Drop the last year into the silent limbo of the past. Let it go, for it was imperfect, and thank God that it can go." Brooks Atkinson
