Prostate Cancer Treatment Alternative ? 2 therapies

Prostate cancer is a form of cancer that spreads slowly but has serious repercussions. This type of cancer is caused in the prostate gland, which is part of the male reproductive system. Age and hereditary factors are considered the main causes of this cancer.

This cancer can be classified into two stages, namely the phase of primary and advanced. This cancer is difficult to detect in the elementary school where she barely affects the normal life of a person. Removing the prostate is widely practiced to cure this form of cancer in the elementary stage, there are many alternative treatments available these days. When the disease progresses to an advanced stage, outside the prostate gland, it also affects the bones and lymph nodes.

Although surgery is a common treatment, there are other alternative treatments for prostate cancer. Cryotherapy and chemotherapy are two such methods.

Cryotherapy: Cryotherapy
is a treatment method that is used to treat prostate cancer at an early stage. In this treatment, cancer cells are made to freeze and kill. The freezing of cancerous cells is done by injecting a cold liquid such as liquid nitrogen, argon in the prostate gland. Freezing technique although complex had a good success rate. This freezing method was used in the past to heal the ulcer of the stomach.

Chemotherapy:
chemotherapy drugs against cancer are injected directly into the bloodstream. Sometimes these drugs are taken orally as well. These medications taken, mixed with blood, spread in the body and thus cure prostate cancer. Usually, this procedure contains a combination of different drugs. Sometimes analgesics are mixed with this drug combination also.
