Ju ? A survivor of breast cancer twelve years and still going strong
Ju, a lady of thirty-six, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1995. She had a lumpectomy. Ju??ancer was at an early stage, but to be sure, the doctor suggested that Ju had a mastectomy ? total removal of a right breast. Ju fell and did not see his doctor again. She received no chemotherapy, radiotherapy or hormone treatment either. She decided to seek alternative methods of healing. For many people in the West, what Ju did was simple adness??? and for anyone to suggest abandoning conventional medical treatments as in his case, may even be regarded as an irresponsible act??RIMINAL?.
Ju??ather is a herbalist and, naturally, she turned to him for help. Ju took herbs prescribed by her father for about a year. When she felt well and healthy, she stopped taking the herbs, without even telling his father. Besides herbs, Ju learned to meditate, increased to a healthy diet of vegetables, nuts, fruit juices, unpolished rice, etc., in addition to many kinds of supplements.
For seven years, Ju remained healthy. Guided by the medical doctrine, after you live five years with cancer with no problem, you are considered??red?. After five years, complacency started to set in. Ju returned to his previous lifestyle and began posting on its??? Diet. For her, this moment will??ything? ? Cancer is no longer a threat. She found a job and went back to work.
Barely two years after his isbehavior??,? Ju??ealth took a beating. She felt tired easily. However, she did not even bother to track the health anyway ? not even examine her own breasts. One night in 2002, seven years after she discovered a lump in her breast, Ju noticed a piece of 2 cm protruding out of the scar from his operation site. The cancer recurred. She started taking fruit juice and has a broad program of detoxification again. It should not be ? in six months, the song has grown into one of 8 cm hamburger-like-open wound. One day he was bleeding, oozing a glass of fresh blood. Ju went to see a surgeon who has made an immediate mastectomy on her. After three months, Ju has regained its health. Ju asked to undergo radiotherapy. After seven treatments of radiotherapy she developed bronchitis and decided not to radiation. Since it does not heal, in 2005, Ju decided to go for chemotherapy, as suggested by an oncologist. The third cycle of chemotherapy caused her to vomit all night. She decided to stop chemotherapy and returned to a healthy diet, again juices and supplements. To date, Ju is well and live a normal life. I interviewed Ju May 9, 2007, and offers a transcript of our conversation in nine games following this article. I think there are many lessons we can learn from the experience??u.

Ju lucky to be alive today, twelve years after being diagnosed with breast cancer. Over the years, I know of many cases of breast cancer that resulted in death, three to seven years after diagnosis, even after receiving state-of-the-art medical treatment in the best hospitals. Chantal Bernard-Marty et al. (in: The Oncologist, November 2004) wrote:? 20% ? 85% of patients with breast cancer early will develop recurrent and / or metastatic disease. Despite more than 3 decades of research, metastatic breast cancer remains essentially incurable.?
Two examples come to mind when I think about breast cancer and medical treatments. The wife of my friend was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had undergone a mastectomy and chemotherapy and radiotherapy. She was bald and suffered severe side effects. After treatments were completed, the oncologist said that all was well. She and her husband went for a short vacation. She vomited on the plane coming home. I was told by her husband that the CT showed that the liver has been??ll? tumors. Her stomach bloated and in a few days she died. It was the more tragic because she was only nine months from the date of diagnosis to death. This episode made me wonder if it was cancer or treatment which caused his death.
The young wife of one of my distant relative has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She came to seek my help and started on the grass. After three months, she decided to give up the grass and went for chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The cancer metastasized to his bones. She died while in hospital, three years after his diagnosis. It was a painful death.
In comparison, Ju must be grateful to be alive to this day. More importantly, she did not suffer to stay alive. A lesson from the experience Ju??- the way of modern medicine, using chemotherapy and radiotherapy is not the only proven option for managing breast cancer.
