who takes Oxycontin

If you do, my pharmacist informed me they are pulling the generic again. She could not tell me why, but we will have to take the name brand once again. To me, this is a double edged sword. The name brand lasts longer, but $10 versus $50 makes me suck up the added hours I get and I can usually get thru those hours with my Percocet which is prescribed for breakthru pain, but I use them all. She said, don't worry, generic will be back like last time, she just couldn't say when.

My doctor provided me with a discount card for Oxycontin that is through Purdue. It covers all but the first 20 dollars of my copay, making it 20/month instead of 60.

Perhaps you could inquire about getting one to help offset the cost some.
