Good morning everyone, where are you all hiding at?

This forum was so helpful to me during my time of need! I personally, am addicted to nicotine but frequented this forum due to my husbands drug use. I am guilty of losing touch when the forums kept "going down", but have bookmarked the site once again on my latest computer and intend on checking in frequently again!

It's sad, I have dropped by several forums and the activity is so.. well, it's just not there! Let's get this place up and running again! You never know when a viewer may get the nerve to speak out for the first time! I posted in 2 different forums last night and both had 11 viewers, nobody has replied to any of the threads I created and it's really so sad!

Please take a few minutes to drop a line! If you help only 1 person today, you have done a great deed!

Hi Dizzy ~ You're absolutely right. I can't believe that addiction has been CURED in this country!!! LOL If it has, I hope someone will let everyone know about it cause I know of a support group in my area that doesn't know about it yet. LOL.

I'm sure there are some lurkers out there who would love to talk about addiction but this place hasn't had any activity lately, and they're afraid to say anything.

Well, we're here folks, so jump right in. Don't be afraid to talk. No one will JUDGE you as we've all been there and done that. Maybe some of us are still struggling and maybe some of us have been clean for a long time. So PLEASE ~ get to know us, and maybe we can help.

Hope to hear from a few new people! You are among friends. Hugs, Lee

Ok, I'll jump in to. I am an addict in recovery and my name is Alice. On the 14th of this month, I will celebrate 10 years clean. My daughter is also an addict and she has a 18 month daughter. My daughter is not clean and I am powerless over her addiction. I am hoping for the best, however. I attend NA and Al-Anon meetings. I believe with all my heart and soul that any addict can get clean and learn a new way to live if they are willing to do the work. In my program, the only requirement is the desire to stop using. So, if you are out there lurking, you are not alone and you are welcome! Blessings to all!
