It's good to be back.
I went by the name coyote before. I had just started to look for braintalk forums a couple of weeks ago, and came up with braintalk2 forums....not too bad either. I wish a few more people would show up here.
Flares with the changing weather, also causing back, neck pain.
I was just referred to a pain clinic for the first time, north of Boston. I'm going to get some cortisone shots for my collapsed disc and accomanying problems, but they treat fibro, too. I got a Rx for pool therapy, not too far away, with an actual therapist. Will see how it goes. I'm pretty anxious about the shots.

I will think good thoughts about the shots

my mom had to get a number of shots in her neck for severe arthritis pain and they actually worked well. She was scared at first, but said they really weren't too bad

I hope you will have the same experience

I think I remember you if you had a teaching job where you needed to roll your supplies in a cart from classroom to classroom and were also caring for you Dad. Do I have that correct? It's good to see you back and pursuing a new course of relief from pain and discomfort. I hope things go well. Cheerio.

Thanks for the good thoughts. The first shot is actually tomorrow, so I'll have a long weekend to recupe.

is not one of my talents but I do remember facts and situations the people describe. I would be willing to bet that the water therapy is more helpful than anything else. It is my lifeline, literally and I plan my days around the time I spend swimming in the pool. I sleep better, feel better and am pleasantly tired afterwards. Cheerio.

Artist, please let us know how the shots went and also what kind of doctor is doing them. My spinal problems are triggering my fibro problems or vice versa and making my life miserable. These shots you're talking about sound like a great possibility for me as well.

I remember Coyote, too. It's good you're back. Hope to hear from you soon and do hope you get relief.
